  Wow! I'm glad I am not the only one who had a bad experience here! I just moved to Encinitas from a small town in Wisconsin where we don't have many cute shops and I was so enthralled by this place! When I walked in, the woman (I think the owner) looked me up and down and gave me a very cold "hi". I searched around for a bit and the woman, once again in a very cold tone, asked me if I was planning to buy anything (I was in the store for 15 minutes). I told her I was just looking around. She let out a huge sigh and walked around almost as if she was waiting for me to leave! I felt so uncomfortable and I left. Sorry, but the ambiance and attitude of this shop is not for me.
